Lisa Martens is an associate at Tarrabain Law, whose litigation practice spans a number of different practice areas including, Family Law, Criminal Law, Construction Law, Employment Law, and all manners of commercial dispute. Before starting at Tarrabain Law, Lisa gained valuable experience working at a large Alberta law firm and as in house counsel for a municipality, during which time she successfully appeared before the Alberta courts and represented clients at mediations and settlement negotiations. Lisa is known for her strong oral advocacy, reasonable negotiating approach, and her ability to translate complex legal issues into manageable and understandable steps in the legal process.
Lisa earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as her JD from the University of Alberta. Lisa is an avid yoga practitioner and hiking enthusiast, who can often be found in the Edmonton River Valley exploring with her dog and family.
